This week starts our first games. All directions and maps to away fields can be found by clicking on the maps link on the left side of the web page. We are really looking forward to a great season.

Our first mini-camp went great. We will have some pictures up in the very near future. We would like to thank the Kent State players and coaches that came out to give us some great training..
We have scheduled a couple of additional mini-camps. The Akron Racers will be putting on a mini-camp in May and a second Kent State Golden Flashes camp will be put on in June.
We also have scheduled our
Pregame Parade of Champions with the Akron Racers. Click here for more information. This is opening day for the Akron Racers and the night will conclude with a fireworks show.

Adult Co-Ed Slowpitch Tournament
We are currently scheduling our Adult Slowpitch Tournament fundraiser. The games will be played on Sundays at Craftsmen Park. The first game will be on April 20, 2008. If you are interested in playing or have a team you would like to enter, every player must fill out the form below and email it to contact@portagelakesfastpitch.com. About Our League
The new Portage Lakes Fastpitch softball league was formed in 2007 by a group of concerned parents. The number one concern of our league was the children's benefits and fair treatment. We are a true non-profit group (501.C3). Click here for information on our non-profit status.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the corporation is to teach and demonstrate to young children the principles of good sportsmanship, as well as integrity, honesty, courage and reverence. The highest priority of the corporation is to produce finer, stronger and happier children who will grow to be good, responsible, ethical, healthy adults. The board, coaches, parents and spectators shall bear in mind, at all times, that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of the game is secondary and that the molding of future citizens is of prime importance. Furthermore, the corporation, in order to promote higher education, will work to obtain funding for yearly scholarships to selected qualified athletes through the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority College Advantage Savings Program.

Currently we have secured the fields at Craftsmen park for use for our league. Any other fields that will be used by our league will be added soon. You can also click on the Maps & Directions link to see how to get to any and all of our fields.

League Registration Info
Did you miss softball sign-ups? We are still accepting registrations. You can email us for more information or fill out the forms below and mail them to us. Registration forms: Form 1 - Form 2
Prices for registration will be:
$45.00 for the first child
$35.00 for second child
$30.00 for third child
You can also register at any time by printing the following forms and mailing them in along with the registration fee.
You can click and print the form or Right Click and save the document to fill it out using Microsoft Word.
